About
My name is Maribel Torres, owner/operator of Iron Paw Kennel. In addition to breeding German Shepherds, I am a Certified Professional Behavior Specialist and Dog Trainer (CCTA, CCDT), Service dog Trainer (ABCSDT), First Aid and CPR certified and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
Located in East Tennessee, Iron Paw Kennel specializes in breeding high quality working German Shepherds where the parents are certified hips and elbows through OFA. All dogs come from imported European bloodlines and are AKC registered.
Puppies are thoughtfully raised with early exposure to real-life environments, obedience training, crate training, and housebreaking. This ensures that they are well-prepared for their future homes.
In addition to breeding, Iron Paw Kennel provides highly capable service dogs that are physically sound, emotionally stable, and deeply devoted to their handlers. These dogs make a meaningful impact as companions, therapy dogs, and service dogs.
Our dogs have been proven to help those living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), providing security which proves to help reduce symptoms such as isolation, depression, anxiety, nightmares, and hypervigilance.
